BIOGRAPHY
Hudson Davis is a 21 year-old singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist from Houston, Texas. A product of Texas blues clubs, Hudson blends a flare of southern blues, soul and passion with elements of rock and modern pop to tell a new story that pays respect to past, present, and future.
From starting on piano at age 5, Hudson has been playing music all his life. Inspired by his big brother at age 10, Hudson picked up the guitar for the first time, and what started as a simple fascination turned into a life's calling after being exposed to blues rock greats like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and BB King.
From then on, Hudson could be found on week nights playing at the many blues and jazz clubs in Houston, and while only in middle school, Hudson began to find his musical family in these clubs, jamming and conversing for hours on end with professional musicians who toured with the likes of BB King, War, Gloria Gaynor, and Parliament Funkadelic. Inspired by his musical roots, Hudson now dives into the world of songwriting and music production to tell his story through a new lens, paying homage all those who have shaped him and continue to do so.
